I like coffee. I like walking in the rain. I like my car. I value my freedom. I wear jeans. I work insanely hard. I prefer cheap and thoughtful to pricey and showy. I would take emotional over financial security any day. I value values and have a weakness for men in glasses. I believe good women are worth pursuing. I believe good men are amazing. I love kids, although admittedly I am terrified of the whole parenting process. Right now, I am pursuing a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience. I don't intend to stay in Academia, though. Eventually, I would like to run my own NGO. I volunteer in my community as a Victim Assistance Volunteer through the local Police and I teach part-time in the local community colleges. I find it funny that some of my students are older than me but call me Miss. I have a strange interest in South American politics. I am notoriously known for traveling on a whim. It doesn't take much to convince me to go somewhere for no reason at all. I am looking for someone who knows what a struggle is. Someone who is not a hypocrite. Someone strong in character who I can admire. Someone who brings out the best in me. Someone I can bring out the best in. But above all and MOST importantly, someone spontaneous with an infectious love of life. When I picture my future, I don't see a house in the suburbs. I hope to find someone who will mesh well with my temperament.
