Hi. I was born in South Africa and have been living in England for 8 years. I live in London which is a great city but sometimes a tough place to meet new people. I love the outdoors (as long as I'm dry and not freezing), thunderstorms (yes, I know it's weird) and the sound of rain on a tin roof, and I adore animals but unfortunately I'm allergic to the furry variety (but it's manageable). I like to unwind by playing on my piano occassionally, and I also have a penchant for vintage cars. I should come clean and admit that I'm not really the loud clubbing socialite type. I really prefer spending time with friends in much less manic circumstances. I'm a quiet and thoughtful person, but can be quite chatty when I feel comfortable with somebody, especially with good friends. I enjoy being with calm and easy going people who have a grip on their work/life balance. I'm really not into super-active alpha males who are desperate to impress. I prefer somebody who is comfortable in their own skin, somebody articulate, focused and who engages with the world. If you want to meet somebody interesting, who loves to laugh and who loves a challenge, then let me know! ...and if you can open stubborn jars and corked bottles of wine, it would improve your chances considerably!!
