My curiosity and love of nature comes from my father and his search for quiet islands and exploring their beautiful beaches. I guess I inherited a lot from my parents- who are now both teachers. Independence and self-sufficiency I learned with my brother from trips that rarely did not involve a car + plane + boat and if we were really good little kids a bus or truck (woo-hoo)! Patience and acceptance I learned from my mom who got seasick on all these trips in the Caribbean, New England or Aegean and just kept smiling & coming back for more
